The chat support is clearly outsourced to the lowest bidder. Support agents only have a very limited grasp of the English language and don't seem to have much experience in troubleshooting the most basic of hosting issues.
Very Bad Experience
The worst hosting service ever. I had a shared hosting for a very cheap price. That was ok, but since I got more and more traffic, I decided to migrate to a cloud hosting service. And troubles have started since. Downtime, lost data, customer service unable to answer, site redirection to a site which has nothing to do with mine.
Used for several years and been satisfied. Customer support is by ticket and so not instant but on the few occasions I needed to contact them they were helpful. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing a dedicated server plan.
Slow Support But Good Servers
A lot of complaints on this site boils down to the lack of experience and knowledge that many users of the Bluehost services have. That's no surprise of course since Bluehost offers affordable starter services which attract many amateurs. I never experienced any technical, security or performance issues over the last 3 years. However, I would agree that their support is rather slow.
Not Planning To Continue
So I've been with them for a few years and even though their customer service isn't the best I was shocked when they auto-renewed my hosting for 3 years and charged me $400. It's unbelievable. I hope they get this fixed for me because I don't plan to continue.
Very Nice Company
Excellent and responsive service! I had an issue with billing that I had no clue about, they not only informed me quickly and gave me other options, they also settled the issue very quickly once I decided what to do moving forward. Thanks Bluehost!
I was under the impression this was a good hosting site, but it is terrible. I have been trying to get hold of someone on the chat for nearly an hour. same message as last night and night before "Sorry we are experiencing long waiting time!!!!!"
I've had my site up for a few years now and had no problems they always been really helpful and able to answer all my questions I would recommend to others. I am currently using their dedicated servers on my website.
Have been using their hosting services (shared) for 6 months now. Running 5 websites and have nothing bad to say. Had to contact support two times for different questions and got answers within 3 hours tops.
I love BlueHost
I love Bluehost because by default they allow you to host as many domains as you want. I often times like to test out multiple domains and subdomains and Bluehost is great for that. Easy to use interface and great product!
